real estate Some of the historic sites within Windham include: the Searles School which is in the process of being renovated and rented for functions, the Searles Castle, owned and renovated by the Sisters of Mercy, which is also available for functions; and the original "Town Center", the location of the Town Hall, Planning Department, Senior Center, Bartley House and the Armstrong Memorial Building, the latter of which houses the Town's museum. There are numerous other pieces of history scattered throughout the Town: the Governor Dinsmore plaque and Garaphelia Park to name a few.

Griffin Park is a great place for the kids to spend their afternoons playing at the new playgroud, riding their bikes around the track, or playing sports on any one of the various fields.

Cobbett's Pond has a town beach which is a great place for the family to gather during the hot summer days.

Windham's school system includes Goldenbrook School (grades Transition, 1, and 2); Center School (grades 3,4 and 5); Middle School (grades 6, 7, and 8); and the new Windham High School which is scheduled to open September 2008. Currently, the High School students attend Salem High School in Salem, NH.
